How do I book a safari with JungleViibes?
Send us your dates, group size and interests via the contact form or WhatsApp — we'll propose an itinerary and quote, usually within a day, and confirm your booking once a deposit is paid.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a 30% deposit confirms your booking, since we begin securing forest-department safari permits immediately given how quickly daily quotas fill.
What's your cancellation policy?
Refund tiers scale with notice given, from 90% at 30+ days down to no refund inside 7 days — full details are on our Cancellation Policy page. Safari permits themselves are non-refundable once issued, regardless of notice.
Can I customize an itinerary?
Yes — our Customized & Private Safari Tours are built for exactly this, with a private vehicle and a route planned entirely around your dates and interests.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer and major credit cards; package pricing is quoted in INR, USD, EUR, JPY and AUD.
Is a tiger sighting guaranteed?
No responsible operator can promise that — wildlife behaviour is genuinely unpredictable. Multi-day itineraries with four or more safaris post strong sighting rates in our records, but no single drive is guaranteed.
How many safaris should I book?
At least four across two to three days, ideally spanning more than one zone — enough to account for a quiet drive without giving up meaningfully on sighting odds.
What's the difference between core and buffer zone safaris?
Core zones are the strictly protected heart of a reserve with the highest wildlife density and tightest permit rules; buffer zones surround them, offer more flexible access, and are where most walking and community-based experiences happen.
Are safaris safe?
Yes, within forest-department protocols — vehicles stay on marked tracks, keep a safe distance from wildlife, and are guided by trained naturalists. Our full safari conduct rules are on the Plan Your Safari page.

How do I get to Nagpur?
Nagpur connects by frequent domestic flights from Delhi (~1.5 hrs) and Mumbai (~1.3 hrs), with fewer daily options from Bengaluru. There's no scheduled international service, so international guests connect through Delhi or Mumbai first.
What should I pack?
Neutral-toned clothing, a warm layer for cold dawn safaris, binoculars, and your ID/passport — the full categorised checklist is on Plan Your Safari.
Do I need a visa?
Most nationalities are eligible for India's Tourist e-Visa, applied for online ahead of travel. There's no separate "wildlife visa" — the standard tourist e-Visa covers safari entry.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks minimum; six or more weeks during peak season (April–June) when permits are most contested.
Can you arrange airport transfers?
Yes — private air-conditioned transfers from Nagpur (or your relevant gateway) are included in every package we run.
What's your sustainability policy?
We cap vehicles per booking, are TOFT-certified and Forest Department registered, and route revenue to community-owned businesses first — full detail is on our Sustainability & Conservation page.
Does my booking support local communities?
Yes — a share of every booking funds forest-department-recognised eco-development committees in the villages bordering the reserves we operate in.
Can I visit a buffer-zone village?
Our Eco Tours include exactly this — a guided village walk and time with a community-owned homestay, led by a local naturalist.
Are your lodge partners vetted?
Every lodge we work with is visited and re-inspected by our own team, not just taken on a supplier's word.
Do you offset the carbon footprint of the safaris themselves?
Yes — we offset safari-vehicle emissions and favour rail and shared transfers over short domestic flights wherever an itinerary allows it.
Is India safe for solo travelers?
Millions of solo travelers visit India safely every year with ordinary precautions. On our trips specifically, you're with a naturalist and driver throughout every safari and transfer.
What vaccinations do I need?
This isn't something we're qualified to advise on — please consult a registered travel health clinic or your doctor, and check your national travel health authority's current guidance well before departure.
Can you coordinate with my travel agency?
Yes — we regularly act as the ground operator behind agency-booked trips, providing full itinerary documentation your agency can use directly.
What currency should I carry?
Cards are accepted at hotels and lodges; carry some Indian Rupees in cash for local markets, smaller vendors and tips, where card acceptance thins out.
Do guides speak my language?
All our naturalists guide in English; several also speak Hindi, Marathi, French or Gondi — see individual guide profiles on our About Us page.
